Okay, as I promised, I’m doing it. Let’s take a closer look at the e-commerce events in the coming year. I will focus only on those that I think are worth it and that I know I will want to attend 100%, whether for the interesting content, the location or the participants themselves. This doesn’t mean you won’t find me at other events. Something else might come up that will be worth it.
CzechCrunch is on the move
Where you’ll definitely find me will be the events organized by CzechCrunch. Of course, I’ll focus more on those where e-commerce will be discussed, because together with Ecomail, we’re planning something. But I believe I’ll show up at other events as well, such as the continuation of Money Maker, or their specials they’re planning for the summer. CzechCrunch has really stepped up its game with events, and I like the concept they’ve put in place. I also appreciate that they always manage to get people from the industry the event is focused on. The criticisms and comments I had about some of their events, they’ve managed to improve, and I believe they’ll take it even further this year. I’ve already had a discussion with Láďa about how it could be taken even further. I won’t make the first event this year because I’m returning from Sri Lanka at the end of January, but I’ll definitely be at the next one!
Another regular event where you’ll be able to meet me throughout the year is the E-commerce Beers series, which should be held every month. It starts right in January at the Legitas offices, which I’m familiar with because they’re just one floor above our Ecomail offices. When I last talked to Marek, he said they have a lot of ideas. So you definitely have something to look forward to.
Expansion to Slovakia continues
I will also definitely not be missing the events that Trust Pay has planned in Slovakia. It looks like a few rooftops, which I really like. So I’ll be happy to continue the expansion to Slovakia.
And from other regular events, be sure to focus on the Minute ones. No, they don’t last just a minute, but they always have “Minute” in the name – board games, networking and so on.
