Work Lifehack: Zaptime Solves Meetings and Calls on the Web

Recently, I’ve started focusing more on consultations. This involves the efficiency of planning consultations, meetings or calls. On my website, I first had Calendly, but then I switched to Zaptime and it’s much better. What can it help you with and what are its advantages over Calendly? Let’s take a look at my work lifehack and start using it too…

What is Zaptime
Zaptime can help you schedule meetings or calls as needed. Whether on the web (iframe forms or integrated NPM packages) or outside of it. You don’t even need a website, you can generate a link and send it to the person in question.

How does it work? In the settings, you simply connect Zaptime to your Google Calendar or iCloud calendar and you can start accepting reservations immediately. You can also set when and for how long you are available (days, time windows or even the number of meetings per day). The person who wants to connect with you can simply choose a time that works for them and for you. As soon as they confirm the reservation, you’ll get a notification, so you won’t miss anything.

But it has a lot of other cool features. You can customize the look of Zaptime to match your website, you can create language versions, custom form fields, automations and connect it to Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. It can also be integrated with other apps, such as Google Meet, Apple iCal, Slack, Zoom, Ryanet CRM, API or the Czech tools Ecomail and Freelo. There’s a lot of it and it’s easy.

Zaptime vs Calendly
As I mentioned, I initially worked with Calendly in a similar way. Both tools are very similar. Calendly offers more ways to embed it on your website (inline embed, pop-up widgets, pop-up texts, etc.). Zaptime is simpler in this respect, but quite effective.

What do I see as the key advantage? Unlike Calendly, Zaptime is localized and tailored for Czech users. Everything is completely in Czech, including support – you don’t have to worry about arguing with some Indian. And most importantly, it can integrate with Czech tools like Ecomail or Freelo.

The pricing is similar for both platforms. They start with a free version and then have packages (for one person, for companies, etc.). Calendly offers 4 packages, Zaptime has simplified it to 3, with the last one being individual with some configuration options according to the needs of the given company.

Going to Zaptime?
Zaptime will save you time because you don’t have to figure out when you have time and when the other person has time. At the same time, you’ll have an overview of who has booked you thanks to the calendar integration. Notifications are a given. You can try the basic version of Zaptime for free and test everything out. The paid version starts at 249 CZK per month and, unlike the free version, includes a lot of advanced features, so no one on your website will even know it’s a third-party addon.
