I’m really glad I was able to meet great e-commerce people at Meet&Deal vol3 who are looking for new ways to grow,” she described her experience.
“At vol3, I went with five names on the shortlist and the next day I had twelve meetings scheduled, three of which are in an advanced negotiation phase,” says Jaroslav Nosek from Radiohouse about the deals.

For Tomáš Voves from Livesport, the biggest benefit was gathering open opinions and tips from dozens of participants: “I have to say that I met a lot of interesting, skilled people and companies that have something to offer. Livesport operates in a quite specific area, but even there I was able to talk about this sports-business sector and find new contacts and partnerships that will be immensely useful in the future.”
Networking for introverts
The event is also welcoming for those who don’t feel like fish in water when it comes to networking. Tomáš Chovanec, the owner of ReLegends, who described himself as an introvert, utilized the services of our connectors. “I gave the connecting lady a tricky task of connecting me with someone interesting. She took me to Dominik Válka and he gradually introduced me to other people. Now we’re already planning big things. Thanks to meeting Láďa Vašek, we were part of the biggest investment conference in the Czech Republic the following week. At Meet&Deal vol3, I got to know a total of 4 people, which is a big deal for me, an introvert. The most inspiring of them is definitely the organizer, André, who deals with everything with perspective and direct communication. He’s a great guy!” Tomáš shared.
Unforgettable atmosphere
Besides closed deals and established relationships, participants also praised the atmosphere of the event. Petr Chlup from Foxdeli highlighted the informal approach that allowed him to build relationships with clients and colleagues. “The biggest joy I had was from the tombola for Domča, thanks to which we managed to raise over 100,000 crowns for her therapy. That was fantastic! And I have to admit that I enjoyed the fact that our position has changed so much in a year. Last year, hardly anyone knew us, but today the situation is completely different – and Meet&Deal has a big part in that. I really enjoy that! There were several of us from Foxdeli at the event and our CEO Tomáš Rajchl didn’t even have a chance to taste the catering, he was so busy.”
“The drinks were great and the after-party was also a success. (laughs) But seriously now. I really liked the informal lectures – Reels Talk byAndré and the panel discussion with people from practice, from which one can draw ideas. Not only for the company, but also for personal development. That’s why I think this was the highlight of the evening for me,” adds Tomáš Voves.
Will you come to vol4?
And what about Meet&Deal vol4? For Meet&Deal, it will be the first trip outside of Prague, and we’ll be heading straight to Slovakia. The vol3 participants agree that they won’t be missing it. Martin Bernátek, who recently launched the OlaOla project on longevity, took a deal with Ecomail from vol3 and confirmed to me that unless he’s on vacation, he’ll definitely come to Bratislava as well. Karolína Rubínová from Fragile agency is looking forward to getting to know new people and building relationships again. Jaroslav Nosek from Radiohouse, with whom the chat with Jakub Kantor resonated the most, came up with an interesting idea – whether we should organize a party train to Slovakia?
