The first part of the ‘new’ Tour de networking vol11 series is here. What events have I managed to attend since the beginning of 2025, which were worth it, and where will you never see me again? It will be short, but all the longer – a surprise awaits you at the end.
January: Wedding Fair and a stopover in Rome
January is typically a quieter month when it comes to events, but when Dominik came up with the idea of having a ‘booth’ at a wedding fair, which Matyáš is helping him with, I decided to support our Meet&Deal connectors. Let’s be honest, it’s not really my thing, but it’s nice to see it.
The very next day, Terka and I set off for a [a href=”https://andrekohout.cz/pisu-si/2025/01/22/cestopis-rim-co-stihnout-behem-vikendu/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”]weekend in Rome[/a]. Why not?
On 16.1., Luigis Box held its 8th birthday party. It was a great event last year, so I’m always happy to go back – thanks for the invitation, Sasha! It was more or less the first event after [a href=”https://andrekohout.cz/pisu-si/2024/11/07/nejvyzivnejsi-networking-zazil-velkolepy-vecer-meetdeal-vol3-se-bude-tezko-prekonavat/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”]Meet&Deal vol3[/a], and it was great to hear how many people made deals and what they experienced there.
February: OREA check and expansion to Bratislava
On 16.2., I set off with part of the Meet&Deal team for a location check at OREA Resort Sklář in Harrachov. The preparations for our biggest event [a href=”https://www.meetdeal.cz/all-inclusive-edition” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”]Meet&Deal vol10 all-inclusive EDITION[/a] are in full swing. By the way, March 31st is the last day to buy the cheapest ticket, so don’t wait and buy on the website [a href=”http://mitdyl.cz/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”]mitdyl.cz[/a].
On 20.2., the first Meet&Deal event outside of Prague took place. We were in Bratislava from the 19th to the 21st. March: Bratislava vol2 and the Philippines
On 10.3., the first Yellow Event took place, and I went back to Bratislava. It was great to collect feedback on how people retrospectively saw Meet&Deal vol4, but above all, it was a great conference. During the coffee break, great networking, so it was enjoyed and the goal was achieved.
The next day, they invited me to the LinkedIn Kolotočáři podcast. So that was nutritious. What did the whole second Bratislava mission look like? Check out another vlog.
On 13.3., Terka and I packed up again and [a href=”https://andrekohout.cz/pisu-si/2025/03/20/cestopis-filipiny-vol1-manila-jako-na-dlani-a-hrbitov-kde-bydli-zivi-lide/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”]flew to the Philippines[/a]. Due to the departure, I unfortunately couldn’t attend several events I wanted to – SheCon, Myslivecký Ples, Obchodník Roku, but I won’t even make it to Shop Roku… maybe next time! I haven’t attended many events so far this year, but don’t worry, the second quarter will be better!
