He started humbly as a door-to-door salesman in the USA, where he went through a great school of commerce. Gradually, he became the owner of several successful brands and also a prominent figure in the field of e-commerce. In the Reels Talk interview by André, Ruslan shared his experiences, challenges, and visions for the future.

Road to Success: From Manicure to E-commerce
Ruslan’s road to success was anything but conventional or traditional. He started with manicure and pedicure, which provided him with his first business experience. How does Ruslan handle manicure or pedicure these days? “I would normally go for a pedicure,” he says with a smile.

Door-to-Door Salesman in the USA: A School of Business and Life
One of the most significant stages in Ruslan’s life, according to him, was his work as a door-to-door salesman in the USA. This experience taught him not only how to sell, but also discipline and perseverance. “We used to wake up at 5:59 to be a minute ahead of the others,” Ruslan recalls his days in California, where he sold children’s books. There, he gradually became one of the best salesmen. But he decided not to live the American dream and returned to the Czech Republic.

Current Business and Future Vision
Currently, Ruslan Skopal is the owner and co-owner of several brands, including Trenýrkárna, Maluna, Pietro Filipi, and others. One of his main goals is to make these businesses profitable and achieve a turnover of a quarter of a billion crowns. “My job is to make these businesses profitable,” says Ruslan, who is trying to maximize the efficiency of his enterprises.

Personal Brand and Marketing Strategy
Ruslan is known for his distinctive suits, which are part of his personal brand and marketing strategy. “I am an asset of our brand,” explains Ruslan, who is not afraid to be the center of attention.

Networking plays a crucial role in Ruslan’s career. “100% yes,” he answers when asked whether networking earns him money. His ability to build connections and relationships is one of the reasons for his success in e-commerce.
