Exactly 5 weeks after the Brno Meet&Deal, we moved to Plzeň. About 80 people experienced the summer atmosphere of DEPO2015 and the whole evening was in summer vibes. Literally, because the entire event took place outdoors. Interesting people, networking, a great panel discussion and a raffle that brought tens of thousands to a good cause. How did the most nutritious networking in the Wild West go? Let’s experience it all over again.
42,700 CZK for Millinka ❤️
We have a great deal with the Kubova English Foundation. Together with Kuba Čáslavka and his mother Martina, we organize a raffle at each Meet&Deal event, the proceeds of which go to a good cause.
This time, the choice fell on Millinka, a four-and-a-half-year-old fighter with an extremely rare genetic defect. She is the only one in the Czech Republic, and about 40 people in the world suffer from it. Millinka has problems with hearing, sight, walking and speech, but she has a chance to improve if she undergoes intensive therapy in time. To get to the treatment with her mother, they also need a used car.
The raffle raised a beautiful 42,700 CZK. We thank everyone who contributed by buying a ticket, but also our partners – Dajana Rodriguez, Husky, Furiosa, OREA Hotels & Resorts and Žufánek – for donating prizes to the raffle. Every contribution means a big step and every crown counts.
And the fact that our help has a specific impact was shown directly on site by Dan, for whom we were collecting in the spring at vol5 in Prague. Since he is from Plzeň, he also came to Meet&Deal. Dan is already waiting for a custom wheelchair – the exact one that will bring him even more movement in his life. He should have it by September-October. You see who you are helping. And that’s exactly it.
Lambo, panel discussion and first deals
Somewhat Plzeň was represented by Míra Hejda, who arrived in style – with his Lamborghini, which he parked in the center of events and left there for people to admire. But there were also other local players like Martin Špeta from ANT studio, Simona and Milan Polák, Jan Beneš from Beneš&Michl, Viktor Nový from High Security or Pavel Čech from Sport Arena. Networking was in full swing, as were the beer, drinks and great atmosphere.
Even in Plzeň, a panel discussion was not missing. The topic of social media attracted attention and, for example, Martin Wallner from Mixit talked more and more with every sip of beer – and it kept getting better. In the debate with Daniel Rykr from Buzzoons and Tomáš Rajchl, even the backstage of Tomáš Rajchl’s collaborations, trends and practical tips came under the supervision of Petr Vojnar.
Incidentally, the first deals were also starting – Jiří Zima tuned a deal on Furiosa glasses precisely with Tomáš Rajchl. And what about Petr Vojnar? As far as I know, he has a deal with OREA Hotels & Resorts in the works.
Thanks to all the partners
Without them, the Plzeň Meet&Deal simply wouldn’t have been what it was. I thank you all by name:
Buzzoons
Fajn Radio (Radiohouse)
OREA Hotels & Resorts
NETWORKING AKCE
Thanks for the great photos from Josef Krčil. And thanks to Lada Humlová and her new project Phoenico flos for the flowers!
First feedbacks didn’t wait long
It was a bit shorter and more intimate, but all the more intense. Over 80 people, lots of contacts and a few deals in the works. The best thing about it is that a lot of new people talked to each other again and who knows what will come out of those new connections.
And how do the Plzeň Edition participants see it? Martin Špeta from ANT studio told us: “80% of the Meet&Deal is made by the food – and that was great. Respect for the whole team for perfectly managed the evening, the fluidity and the atmosphere. The guys and girls from Buzzoons inspired me the most. And what would I do differently? Nothing. Keep doing it according to your feelings and the situation!”
And that’s exactly what we plan to do. “It was great and I’m super grateful to be a part of it,” adds Ruslan Skopal from Trenýrkárna. “Thank you for wandering into our territory,” adds Míra Hejda.
“Hi André, I just wanted to thank you again for yesterday’s event. It was excellently organized, with great energy and inspiring people. I was really pleased with the number of quality contacts that were made. And the atmosphere was exceptionally friendly and open. It’s clear that you put your heart into it – thanks for creating such a space for meaningful networking. I look forward to the next meeting,” concludes Miroslav Skořepa.
Thank you, Plzeň. Thanks to everyone who came. And we’ll see… well, sooner than you think. For sure, follow our networks and the mitdyl.cz website.
