This is the third time that Terka and I have been on a nearly month-long trip somewhere in Asia. We started 2023 in Sri Lanka, last year it was Thailand, and this year the Philippines won. If I had to compare them, I would say it’s the worst choice for me, but it certainly has something to it and I’m glad I saw it. If someone asked me where I would recommend they go, I would personally recommend Thailand. But if you just want to drink on your trip and can’t do without pastries, the Philippines will be a good choice for you. Pastries are not eaten much in Asia, at least not in Thailand and Sri Lanka. In the Philippines, they love them and have them almost everywhere. A big surprise for us. What do you need to know about the Philippines before you go there?
