Together with the new year, the e-commerce and marketing activities have begun. At the end of January, the Email Restart took place, where I wasn’t personally present, but I had my people there. But beware. The Restarts are no longer the same as they used to be. This year’s edition has got a brand new coat. This year’s conference on emailing and automation took place right in the heart of Prague – in the Lucerna Cinema near Wenceslas Square. The event was organized by Taste.cz and the role of the moderator was traditionally taken by Michael Koch. What did it look like there?
There is no universal strategy that works for everyone. Because what works well for others, for example, the click rate, may not work at all for you. How did it all go? Are you interested in the individual lectures and case studies in more detail? Or were you unable to attend the event? On the Restart website you can find them all in online form.
One of the things I love about Taste events is that they never run out of coffee. After registration, you could immediately move to a table where several carafes of coffee were waiting for you. Despite the large number of visitors, the coffee did not run out, which is a big plus.
The morning block of lectures began with an opening speech by Michael Koch, who then handed the floor to the author of the all-day lineup Lukáš Balek. His keynote contained several crucial thoughts and ways of how he perceives email marketing. After emphasizing the equation email address = human being, he highlighted his concept of basic, middle, and high school of emailing. And during the day we focused on each level.
After the lunch break, the visitors were stirred up by Petra Stupková and her lecture from the legislative point of view, which dealt with the hidden threats and opportunities of AI in emailing. She also addressed the issue of copyright and presented several billion-dollar disputes on this topic. Did you know that what Midjourney generates for you, you can’t use for commercial purposes? No? Well, watch out for that.
Don’t forget that you can find all the lectures on the Restart website and you can look at them retrospectively.
So what? See you at the next Restart?
