Traveling for me is not just a way to disappear and rest or get to know new places. It is one of the greatest inspirations in my entrepreneurship. Whenever I go out into the world, I return not only with new energy, but also with a head full of ideas, new impulses, and a different perspective on the things I do. In this article, I will show you why I believe that traveling is literally a creative doping for entrepreneurs like me. And maybe it will give you a boost too.

New environment brings new thoughts
When you tear yourself out of your bubble and move to a completely different environment – whether it’s the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, the historic Rome, or the chill in the Philippines – your brain starts working differently. You perceive new colors, flavors, scents, sounds. Everything is different. And it is this difference that often triggers a new stream of thoughts. Suddenly you think about things from a different perspective. And that can be helpful, trust me.

Don’t forget to turn off your brain
My brain often runs at full speed. Up to 300 working hours per month is nothing unusual for me. Meetings, emails, organizing Meet&Deal and other projects I’m working on… you know how it is. But when I travel, I often deliberately turn off notifications and devote time just to myself. To those thoughts that have no space during the daily hustle and bustle. And that’s often when something occurs to me that later turns the direction of my business. Because a clear head can help you find a new direction.

A different country, a different custom
Every country has its own way of doing business, creating or communicating. In Thailand, Sri Lanka, the Philippines or even in Rome or Albania, I have experienced a completely different approach to life, and all of this then transfers to what I do – whether I create my regular content, plan the next Meet&Deal or come up with new projects. Every country can inspire you.

Sometimes a plan is not enough…
One of the best things about traveling? Unpredictability. Things often don’t go according to plan. And it is these moments that teach you to be flexible, react quickly and see opportunities even in chaos. By the way, this is a great training for every entrepreneur.

How to use all this in your business
My advice? Go out. Not to escape, but to broaden your horizons. Even for a weekend, even by train just beyond the border. Just turn off the autopilot mode. Believe me, your brain will thank you. And your business too.
