Jakub Kantor is a perfect example of what can happen to you when you are a regular visitor to the Meet&Deal events. He is even called the Meet&Deal ambassador by his surroundings. And it is actually true. How did it happen, how many deals did Jakub manage to arrange, and how did he fulfill his childhood dream?

“My name is Jakub Kantor and I am a Brand Strategist & Architect with Level C certification and the founder of Kantor Studio. I am the only certified Brand Architect professional in the Czech Republic and there are only 160 of us in the world. We strengthen businesses and create brands for local companies and major players around the world, thanks to branding. Our clients include Komerční banka, Dr. Oetker, Kooperativa, PONER, Atreya or Nestlé Pharmacy. I like to say that we create strong brands that stand out.

From my experience, I know that successful brands are not born overnight. We do branding that turns companies into brands. Thanks to Meet&Deal, I have met many new people and created strong friendships that have led me to interesting “deals”. This combination is priceless for me.”

He came to vol1, visited vol2 and had his biggest birthday celebration there, did not miss the Summer Edition and also appeared at GECOM, where we had our Meet&Deal Lounge. What is it? We simply took the Meet&Deal concept, including the connectors, and brought it to another event. The guests enjoyed it, as did we, and we certainly don’t refuse to do it in the future. If so, let me know. But back to the point.

Not every deal has to have an immediate financial value. At Meet&Deal, in addition to collaborations, friendships are formed. The proof is the creation of new or deepening of friendships with people like Dominik Válka, Ruslan Skopal, Ondra Klega, Imrich Kovaľ, Kristína Kráľová, Lubo and Tomáš Arsovi, Matěj Kareš, Daniel Klečka, Jitka Nagelová or Petr Vojnar. There are a lot of them according to Jakub. All interesting names. And Jakub collaborates with most of them. Thanks to Meet&Deal, he has already solved business for a full million.

Meet&Deal vol2 was special. I needed to surpass vol1 in every way, and there was another crucial thing. Jakub (in addition to the fact that we work together) and I are good friends. That day was his birthday. I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t prepare a surprise for him. We prepared a cake, a toast, and a birthday wish with the team. Jakub’s birthday was duly celebrated. According to his words, he was touched and had never experienced a bigger birthday party before. Over 200 people came to Meet&Deal vol2 in the Václaváku22 premises.

This is perhaps no big deal compared to the business ones. Although why not. Jakub knows Ruslan Skopal well, also thanks to Meet&Deal. Ruslan, too, did not miss any of our events. And it was thanks to Jakub’s long-term friendship with Ruslan and one great lunch that the conversation turned to the fact that Jakub would one day like to buy a Porsche. Word for word, and Jakub bought a great black Porsche 911 in Black Edition from Ruslan, as he himself says, “it fits his brand perfectly”.

Not only has Jakub attended all the Meet&Deal events so far, but he usually closes the entire event. By that I mean that he stays until the end, even for the afterparty. Whether it was vol1, vol2 or the Summer Edition. He just likes the vibe of Meet&Deal and the fact that he can spend more time with new people until the very end.

In short, Jakub Kantor is slowly but surely becoming an integral part of the Meet&Deal events. He bought a ticket for all the events, because he knows how important it is to be able to support the projects of his friends, and according to him, this investment has long since paid off. Moreover, he says that the contacts from the networking have pushed him up another three levels.
