8 events per week in April was not an April Fool’s joke<\/h2>
On April 5th, I started with a work beer for the za5dvan\u00e1ct<\/a> project, which I’ve been running for a while together with Daf. After almost a two-week break from conferences, the long-awaited ShopRoku took place, which is the annual awards ceremony by Heureka – Tome, Mat\u011bj, Ver\u010da, thank you for the invitation! It was a great event full of successful people and e-commerce projects. We networked all evening until the early hours of the morning, this time at Gabriel Loci. Congratulations to all the winners and see you again next year! <\/p> On April 17th, CzechCrunch organized another E-commerce event on the topic of How to Improve Your Customer Journey. As always, we were partners of the event with Ecomail. You could listen to insights from Luk\u00e1\u0161 Havl\u00e1sek (Notino), Tom\u00e1\u0161 Ha\u0161kovec (Spokojen\u00fdpes.cz) or Petr Svoboda (Shopsys, Convertim). On April 19th, I returned to Endorfin for another eCommerce BEERS, organized by Daktela. I still stand by the fact that it’s not a nice space for events. <\/p> On April 20th, we went to Slovakia, this time to Shopmasters<\/a>, which we organized together with the classic Z\u00e1silkovna<\/a> and Shoptet<\/a>, as well as Expandeco<\/a> and Heureka<\/a>. This time, I was quite involved in the content, so the main presentation was given by Dalibor Cicman from GymBEAM and I arranged for Jakub Kantor, Jon\u00e1\u0161 \u010cumrik and Radovan Gre\u017ea to lead the masterminds. The last two mentioned again had the longest mastermind, slightly over 3 hours. And I have to say that our ‚expansion‘ to Slovakia is going well. <\/p> On Tuesday, April 25th, Testuj.to<\/a> organized BrandUP, where Tom\u00e1\u0161 Braverman, of course Eva \u010cejkov\u00e1, but also Petra Dolej\u0161ov\u00e1 spoke. A great afternoon event with interesting content. <\/p> On Wednesday, I went to Minutov\u00fd Networking, which this time took place in Kings, in a beautiful apartment with a great terrace and a view of the castle. I met familiar faces from the e-commerce scene again and another approximately 100 people who came to have fun and network! This week, for the third time, I visited the E-shop Klub by Jirka Ro\u0161teck\u00fd after a while. He invited interesting guests, including Peter Hajdu\u010dek, who revealed more details about the problems with Footshop<\/a> and how they solved them, or for example how much they bought Queens for. <\/p> This week saw perhaps the most events, a total of 8. And as far as I know, all of them had a very decent attendance! <\/strong><\/p> At the beginning of May, I took a break from events and went just for two work beers. But events were held by Holky z Marketingu or Pavel Ungr SEOLoger na\u017eivo, which is a weekend, as the name suggests, about SEO with SEO people. <\/p> We also selected wines from Vina\u0159stv\u00ed Svobodovi<\/a> at the Meet & Deal<\/a> event, which I organize in October! So you have something to look forward to! <\/p> On May 9th, I attended a speedmentoring session within the CzechCrunch Startup Academy<\/a> for my new startup IMBase<\/a>, which is the largest CZ & SK database of influencers. I have to say that although I had a mentor who was available and helped me throughout the whole run, this was the most beneficial part of the entire run and I would gladly do it again! <\/p> Two days later, we organized a Meetup for agencies and partners at Ecomail<\/a>, to introduce them to the latest news, discuss what might be troubling them with the product, or how we can further customize it to their needs, and of course strengthen relationships… <\/p> On May 15th, I had another sales mastermind and I hadn’t rested for a long time, because on May 17th, Reshoper<\/a> took place, which Shoptet<\/a> has been owning and organizing for the second year. Ecomail had a two-story stand at the expo and an approximately ten-person team from support, marketing to management, including sales of course. Since we had the expo capacity covered, I went upstairs to the conference, where several acquaintances presented – Ondra Kleg with Martin Bern\u00e1tek about Ove\u010dk\u00e1rna, Peter Hajdu\u010dek about Footshop, but also Milan Pol\u00e1k or Petra Nul\u00ed\u010dkov\u00e1. At the conference, there was no one who hadn’t seen the E-commerce Calendar<\/a> at least once, because I really made sure it was everywhere… \ud83d\ude1c <\/p> This was followed by almost 2 weeks of a break, which I ended at the Ecomail Stars Party, which we organize annually together with promoGEN<\/a>, for clients and e-commerce friends. About 80 people gathered in our offices, there was a panel discussion on business, great drinks, catering and a photo booth – well, you can judge the photos yourself… Our marketing team raises the bar for this event every year. What will be next? I can’t wait! <\/p> Then I flew to Tunisia for a week to rest and clear my head, which didn’t really work out, but that’s life… I thought for a moment that m\u00edt d\u00fdl<\/a> wouldn’t happen… But it will! It’s true that I didn’t choose the ideal time for a vacation, because on Wednesday the first announcement of the E-commerce Personality of the Year took place, which was decided by the Exec magazine<\/a> together with an expert jury! I would normally not have missed this event, but it happened, so at least I send my congratulations online to the winners Tom\u00e1\u0161 Braverman, V\u00e1clav Stan\u011bk and Zbyn\u011bk Koci\u00e1n. <\/p> After another 14 days without an event, I went to the Konferen\u010dn\u00ed Centrum City, which also doesn’t seem to me like an ideal place for conferences, but so be it… The Send Summit took place here, which is actually a competitor to the E-mail Restart, or not? \ud83d\ude1c A content-intensive event with a few interesting people for networking ended with networking in the program, as is often the case – that’s why M\u00edt&Deal<\/a> will be! <\/p> That day there was also another eCommerce BEERS<\/a>, this time outside of Prague in Ostrava. It’s one of those where I’m sorry I couldn’t be there, because it was said to be a great event put together by Shopsys<\/a> with Alena, Marek and Patrik! <\/p> On Monday, June 19th, I went to one of the last events before the summer: a CzechCrunch<\/a> special „Through the Eyes of the Successful“, where Erika Eli\u00e1\u0161ov\u00e1, Tom\u00e1\u0161 Havryluk, but also Petr Bena shared their experiences, which Peter Brej\u010d\u00e1k drew out of them. Unfortunately, I missed the NEkonference and the AI Restart. \ud83d\ude1e But I did attend the Red Face event, where unfortunately the audience realized how well the Clash of Stars was organized… Well, hopefully it won’t be like that again. <\/p> And finally we come to June 27th, which was the day I had been waiting for 4 months – the Completion of the #4 run of the StartUp Academy from CzechCrunch, which I wanted to win. Although I didn’t manage to do that, it still convinced me enough that IMBase<\/a> will be a great startup that will shake up the influencer marketing scene in the CZ and SK e-commerce scene! Now you won’t see me networking for 2 months, but in early September we’ll definitely see each other at Shopcamp and on October 5, 2023 we’ll meet at the Opera at Meet&Deal<\/a>.
