And it was absolutely divine! What happened there? The Festival began on 20.2. with an opening afterparty, which I missed due to filming <a href=\"https:\/\/andrekohout.cz\/pisu-si\/2024\/02\/15\/reels-talk-byandre-pojdme-se-dostat-pod-kuzi-uspesnym-podnikatelum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Reels Talk<\/a> with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/dalibor-cicman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dalibor Cicman<\/a>, so I only arrived in Brno on 21.2. But the interview is already out, so you can check it out. \ud83e\udd2b&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Reels Talk byAndr\u00e9 vlog #2: Jak vypad\u00e1 GymBeam Fitness Hub a co tam prozradil Dalibor Cicman?\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3PU6Joq-j8Y?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">First evening, first program, first drinks<\/h2>\n\n<p>On the day of my arrival, there were paid trainings taking place, which sold out in no time. And I&#8217;m not surprised. Trainers included names like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/davidduc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">David Duc<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/pastier\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Michal Pastier<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/petradolejsova\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Petra Dolej\u0161ov\u00e1<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jantichy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jan Tich\u00fd<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/radekhudak\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Radek Hud\u00e1k<\/a>, and that sells itself. I arrived in Brno around 8 p.m., checked in and headed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/showcase\/babeltalk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Babeltalk<\/a> by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/zbiejczuk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adam Zbiejczuk<\/a>. I arrived towards the end of the discussion, but that didn&#8217;t end it. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/zbiejczuk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adam<\/a> had agreed with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/marekprchal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Marek Prchal<\/a> to read excerpts from his upcoming book.<\/p>\n\n<p>After the reading, I headed to the Festival, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/faborsky\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jindra<\/a> and his team had teamed up with Brno classics like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barkteryneexistuje.cz\/bar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bar, kter\u00fd neexistuje<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miluju4pokoje.cz\/cocktail-bar-bistro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">4pokoje<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.slast.bar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Slast<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whiskeyprovsechny.cz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Whiskey Bar, kter\u00fd neexistuje<\/a> and reserved them all exclusively for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketingfestival.cz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Marketing Festival<\/a> participants. So, what do you think happens when you reserve venues with limited capacity for a thousand people? Well, maybe a queue of more than half an hour in front of the bar. But from the organizer&#8217;s perspective of a networking event, it&#8217;s an absolutely brilliant move and I really appreciate the idea. It&#8217;s just nice to see that someone thought about it and did it in the interest of the participants, helping them to connect, meet and do business. That&#8217;s what it&#8217;s all about.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Few hours later&#8230;<\/h2>\n\n<p>We&#8217;re still networking, I&#8217;ve met dozens of new people and strengthened relationships with those I knew. And there were a lot of them. How many new people did I meet in those two days? You&#8217;ll find out at the end of the article.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Reels Talk byAndr\u00e9 vlog #2: Jak vypad\u00e1 GymBeam Fitness Hub a co tam prozradil Dalibor Cicman?\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3PU6Joq-j8Y?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We&#8217;re not stopping<\/h2>\n\n<p>On Thursday at 9:00 a.m., <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/faborsky\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jindra<\/a> officially opened the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketingfestival.cz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Marketing Festival<\/a>. And what else did he reveal? He confirmed that the Marketing Festival will return to Brno in 2025. Interested in when? You&#8217;ll definitely find out in my <a href=\"https:\/\/andrekohout.cz\/ecommercekalendar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">E-commerce Calendar<\/a> or in the overview of marketing and <a href=\"https:\/\/andrekohout.cz\/ecommerceakce\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">e-commerce events<\/a> on my <a href=\"https:\/\/andrekohout.cz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">website<\/a>. After the opening, the lectures continued, which combined three main things: world-class names, global reach and a lot of information that you can&#8217;t find in one place elsewhere. But those who know me already know that I spent my time in the foyer and met dozens of acquaintances. Who did I run into? For example, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jakubkantor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jakub Kantor<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/honzamayer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Honza Mayer<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/radekhudak\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Radek Hud\u00e1k<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/filipcernyeu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Filip \u010cern\u00fd<\/a>. But also many others who stopped by my <a href=\"https:\/\/taste.cz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Taste<\/a> booth, where I spent some time. There, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/andreavyhnalova\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Andrea Vyhnalov\u00e1<\/a> was improving the day of the participants and handing out cotton candy, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/mitakoch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Michael Koch<\/a> interviewed marketers and streamed it to the world.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/andrekohout.cz\/pisu-si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/FO8_7961-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3025\" width=\"660\" height=\"440\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Slowly coming to an end&#8230; unfortunately<\/h2>\n\n<p>Around 6 p.m., the first guests left the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndbrno.cz\/budova\/janackovo-divadlo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jan\u00e1\u010dkovo Divadlo<\/a>, the program was slowly wrapping up and many people had to end their participation. But that&#8217;s not the end! It continued at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fleda.cz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fleda<\/a>, where a packed lineup awaited. It all started with a DJ set at 8 p.m., an hour later the bands <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pragounion.cz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Prago Union<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/tatabojs.cz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tata Bojs<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ventolin_ofc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ventolin<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MALALATA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MALALATA<\/a> took over. That was a blast! Combining such a packed lineup and cramming more than 500 marketers and entrepreneurs in there, wow! But it was 3 a.m. on 23.2. and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketingfestival.cz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Marketing Festival<\/a> was over. Well, for the participants. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/faborsky\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jindra<\/a> and his team have planning and preparations for the next one ahead of them. And all I can do is thank them and wholeheartedly say that you&#8217;re doing it really well! Keep it up.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you&#8217;ve read this far, I&#8217;ll tell you one thing. Come to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketingfestival.cz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Marketing Festival<\/a> next year! It will be great, because it will be even better. When you organize events, you always have to improve them a little bit. Just like I do with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meetdeal.cz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Meet&amp;Deal<\/a>, which starts in 3 hours. Well, at least at the time when I was writing this article. Currently, it&#8217;s a few days after <a href=\"https:\/\/andrekohout.cz\/pisu-si\/2024\/03\/12\/meetdeal-vol2-rekord-ucastniku-drinku-a-kolektivni-prispevek-na-dobrou-vec\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Meet&amp;Deal vol2<\/a>.
